The Alliance of Independent Authors is a Membership organization of indie authors & advisors.They offer a variety of resources, for example: four different podcasts each month aimed at varying skill levels; members showcase; advice blog and more. Three times a year the Alliance of Independent Authors host a free online author conference fringe to London Book Fair, Book Expo America and Frankfurt Book Fair. Rubber Clown Car formed in 2006. The band is described as a mixture of XTC, Rob Mould, The Damned, The Who, GBV, The Replacements and Mathew Sweet. Rubber Clown Car has also been described as The Beatles on Quaaludes.
